Hello Chorus! Please come honor Dr. Petrella Wednesday Dec 3rd from 6pm to 7:30pm in the music area.
If any one would like to make a donation towards his gift please let me know how much before hand but I can accept it at the party. Remember chorus: Dr. Whitmire said he would match whatever the chorus gives 🙂
Also please feel free to bring a dish to share or some drinks. It would be a great help.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at kimnicyoung @ verizon . net
From Fred Wulff:
Singers, Dr. Petrella is retiring after 30 years as founder and director of the Alexandria Band. The band is our counterpart in music on the Alexandria Campus and our partner in our next concert.
If you have questions or care to make a contribution, please make it to Kimberly Young rather than me.

In addition to our roster of talented NVCC singer-songwriters and poets that will be featured at NOVA Coffeehouse on Saturday, December 6, I have arranged for an appearance by up-and-coming group Jonthan Vassar and the Speckled Bird. Go to jonathanvassar.com and click the link to his myspace page. There are three songs you can listen to. This should be a great show!

Dear Singers-
Dr. Gueverra (Alexandria Campus Provost) has invited me to bring a group of singers to sing carols, etc at the campus Holiday Party on Wednesday, December 10, 3-5 pm. If you are available, I’d love to have you join us. Please don’t take off work or any other heroic gesture. I’ll count on music majors and others who are around during the day support from other members of the chorus. Please let me know asap if you can do it.

Dear Singers-
As I announced last Tuesday, Dr. Tony Stanzo, Division Dean, will would like to meet with all those concerned about Schlesinger usage. The meeting will take place [tonight 11/11] at 7:00 pm in our rehearsal room (AT130). Dr. Stanzo has been a consistent supporter of the chorus who understands chorus needs. I hope that you can come early to visit with him.
