From Dr. Whitmire: Dear Singers-
Ellie Briscoe has done a wonderful job with publicity:
She has submitted News of our concert online to
*Washington Post Going-Out Guide
*WETA events calendar
She has emailed to the
*WAMU events calendar
*Washington Post Weekend section, and the “Extra” sections for Alexandria and Fairfax
*Alexandria Gazette-Packet
*the other Connection newspapers for Arlington, Burke/Fairfax, and Springfield
She has faxed to the Alexandria Commission for the Arts.
I have submitted info to all NVCC online and print publications.
Now we need you to bring all the creativity and imagination and hard work you can muster to spread the word. Think of all the other places we can publicize this event. Other TV and Radio stations, Your Neighborhood Organization, you Condo Association, Church Newsletter, etc. Be sure to make it personal—include your name. Use social media.
Above all remember, 99% of our audience will be the friends and family that you bring.
Don’t wait. See tickets. Spread the word.
